Post-it Name Activity

Is your little one learning how to spell their name? Try out this easy and fun post-it name activity!

You will need:

  • White Butcher Paper & Painters Tape OR Post-it Super Sticky Easel Pad Paper
  • Post-it notes
  • Marker

Directions:

  1. Put white paper on the wall (I used @postit super sticky easel pad paper).
  2. Write the letters of your child’s name on post it notes. I did 5 of each letter of my child’s name.
  3. Place one set of post it notes on the white paper spelling your child’s name.
  4. Hide the rest of the post it notes around the house for your child to find.
  5. Have your child put the letters in the correct columns to spell their name and work on letter recognition.

Optional:

Put on some music while your kids go on their post-it note hunt.

Make it a race, see who can find all of their post-it notes the quickest.

Bonus:

You can do this activity of tons of other things besides learning names!

I know your kids will ask you to do this over and over again! Let me know if you try it out!
