Lucky Charms Math

St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner. Do you want to make math a little more magical? Try out some Lucky Charms Math!

You will need:

During math, give each child at least 20 Lucky Charms marshmallows. Children will then sort and count how many they have of each type of marshmallow. After sorting, they will work on graphing using their marshmallow data.

Once they have finished their bar graph, children will then use their data to practice addition and subtraction. As an added bonus, I have also included some word problems in this FREEBIE. Adding food to learning makes math a lot more fun… especially when you add yummy Lucky Charms!

Don’t forget to download your Lucky Charms Math Freebie! I hope your St. Patrick’s Day math lessons are magically delicious and fun!
