Can you believe it’s about to be 2022? It came up so fast this year and I totally forgot to buy New Years Eve gear! I decided to whip up some simple New Years Hats for my preschool aged kiddos. These easy DIY New Year Hats double as a coloring activity as well.
You will need:
- DIY New Year Hat Printable
- Paper
- Printer
- Crayons
- Glue
- Construction Paper
- Stapler
- Scissors
- Print out the DIY New Year Hat Printable. You can download this FREE template below.
2. Let your child color the hat however they would like.
3. Let your child pick out a piece of construction paper and glue the New Year Hat printable onto the construction paper.
4. Cut another piece of construction vertically into four strips.
5. Staple a long strip of construction paper onto each side of the New Year Hat Printable.
6. Put the strips around your child’s head once assembled to measure. Cut off the excess strip and staple it together to form the band for their head.
Tada! Your DIY New Year Hat is complete.
